Original Medicare generally covers 80% of most acute medical needs. However, it can still leave you with substantial out-of-pocket expenses if you experience a catastrophic illness or repeated medical expenses. There is no limit to what you may have to pay.

Medicare Advantage Plans - Part C - Medicare Advantage Plans are also offered through private insurance companies approved by Medicare.  These plans are different from a Medicare Supplement Plan, but does provide coverage for approved Medicare Part A and Part B services. In addition, many of the Medicare Advantage Plans we offer even include Medicare Part D - Prescription Drug coverage.  Some of these plans also have additional benefits like routine vision, dental, and hearing coverage as well as gym and fitness facility memberships. There are an overwhelming number of plans to choose from. Our advisors will take time to educate you regarding your various options. Based on your needs and budget we will make recommendations to help you get the benefits you want at the lowest cost.

Prescription Drug Plans - Part D - Prescription Drug coverage is not included under Part A or Part B of Original Medicare.  If you have Original Medicare or purchase a Medicare Supplement, our knowledgeable Medicare Insurance agents will offer guidance to also help you choose a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan.  We represent an array of companies that offer stand-alone Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage. To avoid incurring a permanent penalty, you will need to maintain creditable prescription drug coverage after your initial election coverage period whether you take prescription drugs or not.

Medicare Supplements – Part E - Medicare Parts A and B, also known as Original Medicare, is managed by the Federal Government and generally covers about 80% of your health care services.  There are “gaps” that original Medicare does not cover like certain co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles. There is no limit to your out-of-pocket costs with Original Medicare. You may want to meet with our licensed Medicare insurance agents to assist you in purchasing a Medicare Supplement Plan (Medigap policy) through a private insurance company to help pay for health care costs not covered by Original Medicare such as co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles. If you travel, we can help you purchase a Medicare Supplement Plan that will provide healthcare for emergencies while outside the USA.
