Located in Lancaster, PA, Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. was founded by our President, Eric L. Landis with the purpose of providing comprehensive financial planning that seeks to help our clients plan, accumulate, manage, and protect their wealth.

Our advisors are fiduciaries, exhibiting trust, good faith and honesty while acting in the best interest of our clients. Our MISSION is to provide comprehensive financial planning that carefully considers and coordinates all aspects of a client’s financial plan while delivering sound advice to help them pursue their goals and dreams for a secure future.

Eric L. Landis

Eric Landis began his professional career in insurance and investments working part-time for his father’s insurance agency while attending Pennsylvania State University.  During the commencement ceremony at Penn State University in May 1990, Eric was honored as the student Marshal by the Smeal College of Business for having the highest GPA in his major.        


With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Insurance, Eric worked full-time as an independent licensed agent representing many of the nation’s leading insurance companies.  His passion for helping people with their finances led Eric to work his way up to President of Christian W. Landis Agency, Inc.     


In 2008, Eric created Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. to further his life-long dream of establishing a full service investment services firm.  Currently, Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. has over 3,400 individual investment and insurance clients in over a dozen states.  As an LPL Investment Advisor Representative and his extensive background and experience in insurance and finance, Eric advises individuals and businesses in matters of Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts), Annuities, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Medicare Insurance (AHIP Certified), Long Term Care, and Employee Benefits.   


Eric’s priority has always been putting his clients first and providing them with low cost, innovative products and financial strategies to help them pursue their financial goals.  Eric chooses to be an independent advisor in order to gain access to some of the most competitive products and services available in today’s marketplace.  Eric has been married over 30 years to his college sweetheart, Tracy.  Together, they reside on their gentlemen’s farm in Conestoga, PA. In his free time, Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, playing tennis, time with his adult children and playing ball with the family Labradoodle, Molly.

Jillian R. Snyder

LPL Financial Advisor

Jill Snyder began her career with Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. in September 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Bloomsburg University.  Initially, her role involved developing, organizing and maintaining our in-house technical and administrative support while working alongside our company President, Eric L. Landis.  After learning the business from the ground up, Jill developed a passion for helping clients with their finances throughout all stages of their lives and made the transition to become a financial advisor.  As an LPL Financial Advisor, Jill provides comprehensive financial planning and advice to clients while taking time to consider their individual needs and desires.  She thrives on taking a holistic approach to the financial planning process by developing a plan that carefully considers and coordinates Wealth Management, Retirement Planning, Social Security Planning, Medicare Insurance Planning, Individual Health Insurance Planning and Estate Planning.


Jill is Life and Health Insurance licensed and holds a Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses*. She offers actively managed advisory accounts and provides a wide range of advice to clients about mutual funds, stocks, bonds, REITS (Real Estate Investment Trusts), annuities, life insurance, disability insurance and long term care insurance.


Jill and her husband, Craig, have been married for over 10 years.  They reside in Landisville, PA with their two daughters and their boxer dog.  When she is away from the office, Jill enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and is enjoying her role as a “soccer mom”, cheering on her girls from the sidelines.

Jesse Landis began his career with Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. working part-time as a 4th generation Insurance Advisor while attending Liberty University.  He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning.        


In 2018, Jesse obtained his General Securities Representative license.¹ The following year, he successfully passed the CFP® exam and completed the final requirements for certification in the summer of 2021. As a CFP® professional, Jesse is part of an elite group of advisors under age 30 to earn the distinction with the demographic making up only 5.6% of all CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practioners.² Jesse advises individuals and businesses in the areas of Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Social Security Planning, Education Planning, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts), Annuities, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Medicare. As a CKA® (Certified Kingdom Advisor), he is committed to helping his Christian clients make financial decisions based on sound biblical principles. As a CLTC® (Certified in Long-Term Care), he also focuses on advising business owners and individuals about the benefits of Long-Term Care Insurance. Jesse takes a holistic approach when evaluating client’s investment and insurance needs and is a great resource for younger clients who are just starting out as well as sophisticated clients seeking retirement advice.


In his free time, Jesse enjoys deer and bear hunting at Lawshe Run as well as relaxing with his labradoodle Oakley.

Darren Kushto began his professional career in financial services after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University with magna cum laude honors. Clients appreciate Darren’s passion for keeping up with the latest changes in the financial planning industry and how he utilizes that knowledge to guide them toward making wise financial decisions.  Darren’s satisfaction comes from helping his clients develop and implement a personalized investment strategy and witnessing the meaningful impact he can make in their lives.

Darren serves as an LPL Financial Advisor advising individuals in the areas of Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, Social Security Planning, Education Planning, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Annuities, Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance and Disability Insurance. Darren’s licenses include Life and Health Insurance and Series 7, 6, 63, and 65 all held with LPL Financial.

Darren resides in Lancaster city and spends his free time outdoors hiking, camping, traveling internationally and enjoying time with friends.

Daven R. Akimori

Insurance Advisor

After spending several years in sales and working as a Finance Manager for a local automotive dealership, Daven Akimori joined our team of advisors desiring to continue his career helping people in the financial and insurance industry. As a licensed and AHIP Certified Medicare Insurance Agent, Daven works in our Insurance Division primarily offering guidance to our seniors by helping them to make informed Medicare Insurance choices along with servicing their accounts throughout the year. As an independent insurance advisor, Daven helps clients make sense of over 300 Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare Part C Advantage Plans and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan options available in our area.  


Many seniors find Medicare Insurance confusing especially when trying to make sense of all the product literature arriving in their mailbox. Clients meeting with Daven for the first time appreciate that he is a good listener and that he bears a wealth of knowledge. Daven has the ability to make the ambiguous world of Medicare Insurance understandable, relieving clients of a huge burden. Since our company represents a wide array of insurance carriers and plans, we are able to offer you various options matching the benefits you desire with the lowest cost. It is important to Daven that each client he meets with leaves our office confident they’ve made a good choice. After all, many of his new clients find out about our services through satisfied friends.


Currently, Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. represents over 2,000 Medicare Insurance clients. Daven makes sure our clients are well attended to throughout the year by being available to answer questions and help assist with claims.


When Daven takes a respite from work, he enjoys cooking, driving through the countryside and spending time with his friends and family.

Taylor Rogers joined Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. in 2016 after receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University. As our First Point of Contact, Taylor quickly developed endearing relationships with clients as she learned the financial industry. Taylor’s combined interest in Medicare Insurance and passion for helping others led her to her current position as an AHIP Certified Medicare Insurance Advisor.


Taylor educates in regard to Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare Part C Advantage Plans, and Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans. She primarily works with seniors in Lancaster, York, and Dauphin Counties, but is licensed in various states. Taylor’s patience and passion for helping individuals understand their Medicare Insurance options draws many to seek meeting with her. Whether you’re retiring at age 65, working past age 65 or already have Medicare insurance, Taylor can meet with you to help you determine which of your Medicare Insurance plan options are suited to your individual needs.


Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending time at the gym, catching up on sports, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Spencer Linton started his career in the insurance industry in 2020 when he obtained his Health and Life Insurance Licenses during his senior year while attending Messiah University. Spencer desires to utilize his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing to educate and help individuals make wise decisions. With a background in Employee Benefits and Human Resources, Spencer is familiar with analyzing insurances and tailoring plans to fit individual needs. Spencer is an AHIP Certified Medicare Insurance Agent for individuals seeking Medicare insurance and a Pennie Certified Individual Insurance Broker for those looking to retire early (prior to age 65).  

Spencer is an independent insurance advisor; meaning, he represents many top-rated insurance carriers including many of the plans you see on TV and arriving in your mailbox. Unlike agents who sell a plan and move on, Spencer values relationships and offers his support for a lifetime. As your personal needs change and/or new benefits become available, Spencer makes himself available year-round to provide servicing and answer questions. Without favoring a particular insurance carrier, Spencer connects clients with the greatest set of benefits at the lowest out-of-pocket costs.

When Spencer is not at work, he enjoys serving on the worship team at his church, hiking and camping in the outdoors, and spending time with those that are close to him.

Seeking a rewarding position, opportunity for growth, and a greater challenge, Krysta Novak enjoys her role as an Administrative Assistant and Operations Coordinator in our financial services division.


Krysta is appreciated for her strong work ethic, can-do-attitude, sense of humor, and efficiency. Krysta has become part of a greater family and is happy to be part of our team. She resides in Columbia, PA with her husband, Ed and two cats. On weekends, Krysta loves spending time boating on Lake Clarke, hiking local trails, and grilling with friends.


Austin R. Horvath

Graduating from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Austin Horvath started his career as an insurance agent. His passion for going above and beyond led him to cross paths with Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. providing him with an opportunity to grow his career in the finance industry. As an LPL Registered Administrative Assistant, Austin is being mentored by what he believes is “the best team in the industry."

Austin was born and raised in his hometown of Manheim, PA. In his free time, he enjoys playing recreational sports, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Debbie Szymanski started her career in the hedge fund business as a Client Service Associate.  She moved to Pennsylvania in 2015 to be closer to family and changed the direction of her career to work for an independent advisory firm.


In her free time, Debbie enjoys working with stained glass, hiking, and traveling.

As a graduate of Hempfield High School, Tatiana Hoffard comes from deep Lancaster County roots. While studying for her undergraduate degree and working full time, Tatiana was invited to interview with Landis and embraces the opportunity to grow in the financial industry. Jumping in with both feet, Tatiana thrives assisting in the financial division and excitedly looks forward to developing professionally.

When she is not working, Tatiana enjoys time with friends and family. She has two fur babies, Maples and Rusev.


Barbara A. Sammet
Office Assistant & Custodian

Barb retired from Hempfield High School after teaching Spanish for 36 years. She enjoys helping out around the office doing any housekeeping & clerical work that needs to be done. Taking care of Molly & Oakley is her favorite part of her job. In her spare time, she enjoys camping at Raystown Lake with her husband, Greg, and her dog, Stuart. 


Molly Landis

Director of Client Therapy

Our office Doodle, Molly, primarily hangs out in the Insurance Division providing smiles on dog-lover's faces. She spends most of her day seeking treats, trying to get clients to play ball and giving kisses. When bored from napping, Molly looks out windows and watches squirrels.


Oakley Landis

Assistant Director of Client Therapy

Molly's little brother, Oakley, joined us March 2021. Currently in training, Oakley's already doing an excellent job of welcoming clients and bringing joy to our office. When not romping around with Molly, he is taking a nap in the sun or chewing on his favorite bone. 




Tracy Landis graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration. She worked in sales and marketing for United Parcel Service for three years and declined a promotion to become a manager in order to begin a career in financial services. In 1993, Tracy became a licensed independent insurance advisor and started her own agency, primarily focusing on financial and insurance planning for business owners and individuals in York and Dauphin Counties.


As Director of Operations, Tracy uses her people skills and business experience to manage both the Financial and Insurance Divisions of Landis Financial Advisors, Inc. She provides training to our sales and administrative staff with a concentration on marketing techniques. She wears many hats promoting our company’s products and services, interviewing and hiring, and overseeing client events. Tracy is also responsible for managing our business expansion projects.


When she has a free moment, Tracy enjoys playing tennis, trout fishing, her Labradoodle, Molly, and spending time with her family and friends at the mountains.

Graduating from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Bree Heagy accepted a position as the First Point of Contact after interning with Landis Financial Advisors over the summer of her senior year of college. Quickly mastering her responsibilities, Bree was promoted to Front Office and Events Manager.

Bree is a motivated young businesswoman who’s been recognized for her positive attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Clients have recognized Bree as an asset and have enjoyed watching her flourish in her career.

​In her free time, Bree enjoys bee keeping, gardening, hiking with her pup, Cutter, and spending time with family.
