Our firm has chosen to align with LPL Financial, the largest* independent broker-dealer in the country, because we want the freedom to make recommendations that are in the best interest of our clients based on their unique circumstances. Some investment firms have proprietary products and investment banking relationships that can create a conflict of interest for the firm and their advisors. Because our LPL Research Team has no proprietary products to sell and no investment banking relationships to cultivate, we are free to bring the best recommendations forward and place our clients’ interest ahead of our own.
How We Charge for our Services
Aligning with LPL Financial allows our financial advisors to offer Investment Advisory Services and Brokerage Services. For our Investment Advisory Services, we offer various fee structures, including but not limited to an hourly consulting fee, fee for service and fee-based advisory. Based on a client’s assets, risk tolerance and goals, our advisors can explain which fee structure might be right for them. Oftentimes, an initial consultation is free of charge and any fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before applied.
Different from other firms in our area, Landis Financial Advisors Inc. offers both a financial and insurance division that works together to coordinate some of the most important decisions you will ever make leading into retirement. We show clients how to reduce costly mistakes and capture benefits you were simply unaware of and would have overlooked. Making the right decision in the first place is always better than hoping you can correct the wrong decisions later.
